The Volta Compact Walkie Talkie set comes complete with two handsets to provide a reliable, safe and robust affordable communication system that will suit many and most purposes. Each handset features a comfortable push-to-talk button that beeps with a double press, an LED power level indicator to show you a rough idea of how much power you have left, a microphone that provides a better than average signal to other handsets, clear speakers of course so you can hear what's being communicated precsely, a robust antenna, belt clip and a channel switch allowing you to move between 3 different channels or switch it off. Each handset requires 3x AAA batteries and you get 6 included in the box so you can power both handsets immediately.

With an approximate range of 3km or 2 miles this set is more capable than most sets that are anywhere near this price range. This kind of range means you can use them for many and varied purposes and jobs and unlike mobile phones you don't have to rely on mast coverage to get a good signal. For short range reliable communication Walkie Talkie sets are still hard to beat. This is why emergency services, construction, security, military and many more industries besides still use them.
