What more can I say. Case is made for this phone and works great. Since the phone it's not an Apple product, not really any accessories like an Otterbox available. Shipping was timely. Thanks.
Superb quality!!

Superb quality case. I purchased the Robin's egg blue. Beautiful color. Practical and stylish.
The touch screen aspect of it isn't as useful as the cover does noticeably reduce the touch sense and visibility. But it does work nonetheless and it's a wonderful case for protection and style!

A so so Case

It is a very expensive case.
But as such, I would expect a lot more...
first, in my opinion, it makes the phone very clumsy
Second, the touch screen protector is not that good, it does have a blind spot and also it is very difficult to see the screen in direct sunlight. also because the case is touch sensitive you have to remember to press the power button once you close the case, if not, when in your pocket, the touch screen will work and you may by mistake call someone or send an SMS

Looks reasonably stylish and has a good solid rubberised case for back of phone. However, the cover is opaque and somewhat impedes the sharp screen of the X Compact, despite the app which increases brightness automatically when the screen is covered. In addition there appears to be a number of dead spots along the sides of the screen which require a very definite push.
The touch screen of the cover mostly works, apparently via NFC, due to a rather large item taped to the bottom inside of the cover of the case. This perhaps causes the dead spots as it appears to raise the cover from the screen in parts.
I am not sure that this cover would afford too much protection for the glass screen if dropped, despite the Gorilla Glass, due to the screen's curvature
I am still considering a tailored tempered glass screen cover and eventually removing the covering screen cover flap.
Not good vaulue for the money.

My wife doesn't seem to mind most of its faults and it works nicely in her purse/bag. I am still considering a tailored tempered glass screen cover and eventually removing the covering screen cover flap.

There is no better case for the X Compact

I have tried at least five cases of various quality, and manufacturers for my new Xperia X Compact, and I can say with all sincerity that the Sony branded Style Cover Touch case has the best fit, and the greatest functionality.
I really was hoping to find a case that was the most minimalist in its design, and so I kept trying the various thin TPU varieties offered here and elsewhere, and while they are minimal, no question, and they are priced competitively, they simply do not have the same build quality, and do not offer the functionality of the Touch case. With the ability to wake up the handy from sleep by opening he cover, sparing the extra actuations on the power button, I think is a great feature.
Likewise, being able to interact with the screen through the closed Touch cover is a nice feature on the run. That being said, the screen clarity is substantially reduced looking through the closed cover, and so for any serious interaction, I recommend opening the cover up to reveal the screen directly.
So, while the Touch cover is pricey, comparatively, it really is the right choice for this handy.
